"Different from other places, GGP operates by appointment only. The reason for this is simple: in other places, while discussing your project, at least five other people may overhear your conversation and offer their (non)sensical opinions that don't meet your needs, taste, or budget.
We cannot responsibly discuss 10K or 50K projects while sitting at a desk in the middle of everything with someone who lacks the proper stone skills to educate you on the material or the communication power in the company to oversee your entire project in person. This is not to say that retail shops won't deliver the same final product, but it's about getting the most out of a specific thing - in this case, your stone countertops and customer service."
"Just like gluten, time must be taken into consideration when choosing your stone countertops, otherwise, they will grow on you (lol).
When a client schedules an appointment at our studio, the first thing we do is educate them on materials, with a Stone 101. As the only woman Certified Natural Stone Speaker in Massachusetts, I take pride in providing the latest industry updates, sharing my long-time experience with products, offering my unbiased opinion, and using my strategic design eye to make the most of your time. You will be forever grateful for your stone selection. 😉 The return on investment is incredible."
"GGP Custom Countertops is a business that is owned and operated by women. It is committed to supporting women in the stone industry, which is predominantly male-dominated. According to Forbes in March 2019, women-led companies tend to be better at meeting overall job satisfaction needs than those led by men.
The person in charge of the process handles all aspects of the project, including material education, material ordering, templating, fabrication oversight, quality control, scheduling, installation oversight, and payables. Clients are given a private cell number to contact them anytime."
It's crucial to be a member of the Natural Stone Institute as a stone specialist because it demonstrates a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices. By being a part of this respected organization, stone specialists have access to a wealth of resources, including educational materials, training programs, and networking opportunities. This knowledge and expertise can then be passed on to clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and quality possible.

After starting GGP, joining BNI (Business Network International) was a priority for the owner. The group provides a network of like-minded professionals who help her stay accountable to her goals and values. Her reputation as "The Stone Whisperer" was born in her local BNI chapter in Hopkinton. In addition to the personal benefits, being a part of BNI is valuable to clients, who can receive referrals from trusted professionals within the network.
Here is the link of our chapter - if you want to meet anyone there just LMK :)
Glad to make a connection for you.
